Our green electricity

As a Grünwelt customer, you receive your electricity from us entirely in eco quality and thus make a valuable contribution to a gradually more sustainable form of energy generation.

Since 2015, we have been supplying private customers throughout Germany with electricity from renewable energy sources. Our green electricity comes 100% from environmentally friendly energy carriers such as hydropower and is therefore free from finite energy sources such as coal, gas or nuclear power. No climate-damaging greenhouse gases are released during electricity generation either. The origin of our green electricity is documented by the German Environment Agency's guarantees of origin register and by TÜV NORD.

The TÜV NORD certificate

Our green electricity products are certified by TÜV NORD and reviewed annually on the basis of a catalogue of criteria.

The TÜV NORD certificate

The TÜV NORD certificate and the associated test mark confirm that the electricity we offer comes entirely from renewable energies. To verify this, the origin of the electricity is checked using guarantees of origin in the legally required register of the German Environment Agency. Through TÜV NORD certification, we also demonstrate that we support the further expansion of renewable energies, for example through operating or investing in wind or solar plants, and that environmental protection is fundamentally important to us. In addition, the annual certification reviews the transparent and open communication of the green electricity criteria to our end customers.
